| The photos on our sites are compressed using "JPEG progressive" format. We have found that this format is the most "browser friendly" format. However, many people have had problems opening these files outside of their browser. This is because most older paint programs and JPEG viewers do not support the progressive format. |
| The ONLY solution for this is to find a new JPEG viewer, or upgrade to a newer version of your paint program. (Check with the manufacturer of your particular program to see if an upgraded version supports progressive JPEGs.) |
